![]() ![]() One, a potential fire hazard, and the other just gross.… My biggest concerns were the extension cord and outlet situations (see pictures) and the extensive mineral buildup on the shower head. I was thankful for the fridge with water and Diet Coke. So much butter on the eggs that they tasted greasy, overly done bacon, overly sweet French toast. And tater tots?! Is that now considered a gourmet breakfast? The second morning breakfast entree was disappointing. The sausage link looked and tasted like a Hot Dog. The egg frittata was hot and tasty, if a bit salty. The baked goods and fruit were a good start to breakfast. The owner was quite chatty, which normally would not be an issue except that I had been driving for a while and wanted to get settled in and use the restroom! I did appreciate his flexibility in serving my breakfast the next day a bit early so I could get to my tour on time, since I had a 45-minute drive. Some of the container plants had seen better days. ![]() (I have since alerted the company of my experience.) When I arrived, the first thing I noticed was that the front yard could use some tidying up. This B&B was on a list provided by a food tour company for an event I attended in Beacon.
